BTU's Green Plus Finance Programs
BTU offers convenient financing on a variety of energy efficient products & equipment in your home for qualified residential customers.
Financing your purchase through BTU is easy. We offer a low 7% annual interest rate and flexible terms to help our customer get the
most out of their investment.
Financing is offered on energy efficient upgrades of:
- HVAC & Heat Pump Units
- Programmable Thermostat
- Energy Efficient Electric Appliances
- Insulation Upgrades
- Energy Efficient Window replacements (Low E type), window tinting, solar shades
- Awnings installed that cover at least west facing windows
BTU Finances:
- Equipment, labor, and materials required for replacing or installing an HVAC system in your home.
- Replacement and/or repair of ventilation system.
- Any major electric appliance (refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, water heater) with an EnergyStar rating purchased from a vendor located in the City of Bryan.
- All costs associated with appliances (accessories, delivery, installation).
BTU Does Not Finance:
- Systems installed in mobile homes.
- Items not associated with the system’s installation or replacement.
- Repairs to existing equipment, or cost incurred through regular maintenance.
- Preventative maintenance programs, extended warranty programs, electrostatic filters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and other ancillary equipment.
- Window or similar type units.
How does the process work?
To get started follow these steps:
- Complete the Loan Pre Qualification Form. * Currently unavailable at this time. Please check back on a later date.
- After approval, contact contractors and start the bid
- Select a contractor
- Have the work done
- Then contact your BTU representative to complete the loan paperwork.
BTU keeps all relevant loan applications on file for three months, After that period ends, you will need to fill out and resubmit the prequalification information for approval.
