Bryan, Texas – Bryan Texas Utilities will be conducting an aerial inspection of various elements of the BTU power system beginning Tuesday, September 1. The contractor hired to do the work will be using a helicopter to inspect parts of the BTU transmission system. Work is expected to conclude on Friday, September 4.
This is an annual inspection program and part of an effort to enhance BTU’s electric system reliability, as part of an overall preventative maintenance program. Residents of Brazos and Burleson County may notice this low-flying aircraft.
