Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) has contracted with Quality Pole Inspection and Maintenance to continue inspections and preservative treatment of wooden electric distribution poles within their rural territory.
This program is part of an effort by BTU to identify poles that may need preventative maintenance or replacement as part of their overall preventative maintenance program. The project is scheduled to start Nov. 2, 2020 and should be completed by the end of March 2021.
Residents in the following areas may notice Quality Pole Inspection and Maintenance trucks during this time period:
- Silver Hill Road – Silver Hill Road and Goodson Bend Road
- Koppe Bridge Road – Koppe Bridge Road and Capstone Drive
- Kurten – Kurten area, FM 2038
- Thompson Creek – Jones Road, FM 60, River Road area
